Special hardware is furnished which “bites” into the panel surface creating a positive ground when fastening the ground wire to the back panel. Also, a toothed periphery washer is furnished which is to be installed under the screw head of the existing back panel mounting screw. This special washer abrades the panel and the screw at the point of contact, ensuring a very stable ground between the panel and box.
