Design

All parts are assembled using the spring to retain the Lever Assembly, Door Clamp and the T316 stainless steel washer. The Lever Assembly is furnished with a special size washer required to facilitate the proper operation of the lever. When the door is closed, the clamp engages the formed lip of the enclosure door. When the lever is depressed, the clamp secures the door in the closed position. The clamp is released by lifting up on the lever. Sealing pressure can be adjusted by rotating the lever when it is in the disengaged position. If you wish to use existing hardware and convert it to the fast operating type, individual lever assemblies may be purchased separately (see top of page). Available with 1/4–20 and 1/4–28 threads (except T316 stainless steel which has 1/4–28 threads only).
