JIC Style Cover Clamp is attached with a screw to the tapped clamp bracket to seal the cover to the box. When attached, the clamp engages the formed lip of the enclosure cover. When the screw is tightened, the clamp secures the cover to the box. The clamp has an oblong slot which permits the clamp to swing out of the way when the screw is loosened.
